Requiem Demo Collection

Requiem (Demo I)

The fire in your eyes
When you prayed for me
While I was already gone
Was admirable, and stupid
You let yourself go for me
But when the flame reached your nails
And you reached out for me
When you realized I was beyond you
Out of reach, untouched and assimilated
Gone.

Requiem (Demo II)

Standing in the water that's ten feet tall
You know we're going to drown here
There's no point in drowning with me

There's only so much room for dead bodies
We don't need to pack ourselves down here
You can swim back to the surface
I'll be fine down here
The bubbles from my mouth
Will guide you to surface air

Previously unimaginable destinies
Fate's colliding, toying with us
Using us, seducing us, grooming us
Until we're no longer
Until we're broken beyond repair
Until we're fatally denied our last breaths
Nothing.

Requiem (Demo III)

I hear it in the halls of this room
The doors to the Blackbox near our being
If I hadn't mistaken you for it
I could've held you one last time
It shapes us

There's more down the hall
They're singing our song
And if I'm to drag you to hell with me
You might as well sing, too

Requiem (Demo IV)

If you're down here with me
You've got to show yourself the way out

When your body turns to dust-
That is, to say, you can't fight anymore
You've got to go home
Sleep well and eat well

There's no one down here and no way out
No salvation for us
No rest for the wicked
No requiem for our souls
When we come out the blackbox
And make our way to hell;
The Void calls our name

Requiem (Demo V)

Every choice you've ever made
Has led you to me
This place in which
Our souls are trapped
I know you don't want to talk to me

But if you'll hold my hand when I tell you this:
We're both going to die here
Kiss me when I tell you this:
I'll be the last person you ever touch
