It feels good to write lines I like
It feels freeing
Putting emotion onto paper
Or digital notepads on devices
It feels like escape
When I write a poem about "home"
It feels like romance
When I write a poem about "love"
It feels like happiness
When I write a poem about "us"
Lines I like feel like...
Good
They feel good
And I want to feel good
So I'll keep writing lines I like
Until death do us part
Or until my pen drops out of my hand
Or until I lose my spark
Nothing lasts forever
That's a line I like
